Principal Lisa Contreras leads the Flyers at Frost Elementary School. With 18 years in education, including 15 in Lamar CISD, Mrs. Contreras has served as a Dual Language Teacher, Instructional Coach, Coordinator for Teacher Development, Assistant Principal, and Principal. A graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio and the University of Houston, she is passionate about creating schools where students, staff, and families feel connected, valued, and empowered to grow. Mrs. Contreras believes that the strongest school communities are built through courage, belonging, and a commitment to helping every child reach their full potential. When she is not at school, she enjoys running and writing and is excited to continue serving the Frost community.
